Target Market

Social Entrepreneurs: are individuals with innovative solutions to society’s most pressing social problems. They are ambitious and persistent, tackling major social issues and offering new ideas for wide scale change.

Social Enterprises: are social mission driven organizations which apply market based strategies to achieve a social purpose. Their aim-to accomplish targets that are social and or environmental as well as financial.

Social Business: is a non loss, non dividend company designed to address a social objective. The profits ( surplus revenue) are used to expand the company’s reach and improve the products/services.

Use Value Economy: is an Economy based on the Value of human beings and their abilities. The value of a good or service is based on the ability of an individual or group to use that good or service to add increase and abundance to their lives.

Use Value Resources: The value of a good or service is based on the ability of an individual or group to sustainably use that good or service to add abundance to their lives. These Use Value Resources are exchanged for the advancement and increase of life of both the asker and the giver.

Showcase Networks is a social multimedia platform that promotes the expansion of creative works of CACOON members by highlighting their process of innovation and inspirations of science, technology, business, art, and social entrepreneurship.

What it is

CACOON at its earthy core is a social media website that connects people together with other people and resources to achieve common goals. Here’s how it works:

Create a Profile

Upload pictures of yourself, list your skills, available resources and special interests, display links to past projects that you’ve been a part of. Tell us what you’re looking to do and we’ll enter you into the talent pool. When new opportunities arise that fit your interests and abilities, you’ll receive an email notification with an invitation to view a project. Join a project, meet new people and create something!

Ready to innovate? We’ll walk you through a simple and intuitive process of creation that organizes your ideas into scalable projects. These projects are then introduced into the CACOON network.

During the process of project creation, you’ll identify what type of people, places and things you need to create your dream. You’ll also identify your primary objectives, motivators and inspirations, and determine what you’re willing to give in exchange by what you have in skills, talents or resources. Whether it’s trading for experience, barter of goods and services, community credits (E-Points) or plain old money, we’ll hook you up with members who’ve got just what you need, for the price you’re asking.

 

Community Resource Tree (CRT)

Our advanced resource matching application is the magic behind the whole show. We take your project and pass it through the CRT, which scans the entire catalogue of talented CACOON members and matches the right people and resources up to your project for you. You can also browse through the community to see what other people are up to, make connections, and find inspiration.

 

The Fruits of Your Labor

Sit back, relax and let the community come to you. We’ll create a customizable project page for you and send notifications to all the CACOON members who fit the criteria you’ve outlined in your project. Your project page has all the details of your project and a forum for correspondence and idea swapping. If people are interested they’ll ask to join the project.

What it is

Showcase Networks is an independent media aggregator. A magazine-format application for digital-streaming and mobile devices able to collect and distribute original and comprehensive media to viewers and listeners worldwide.

 

How?

We’re pulling in audio, video and other multimedia from CACOON members and independent collaborators to produce an entire media network dedicated to delivering you an inspirational, positive, and fully customizable media source.

 

 

 

CACOON Members are able to follow their favorite projects, members, businesses, artists, and innovators, and keep up to date with their most current creations. The Showcase platform also allows members instant access to any product featured in our programming.

And?

We’ve got channels! We provide categorized channels for Showcase Original and user-generated content. Here are just a few example:

• Community Build : a Community Building series that features CACOON members projects. Showcase Networks connects local community members together in order to match them to the resources they are in need of to accomplish the completion of their project.

Whether the members are volunteers, contributors or sponsors of a project we promote them and their products and services that are directly or indirectly involved in helping build their community . The Community Build show then inspiresviewersto create their own version of these projects in their local communities.

• Showcase Spotlight – Highlights the latest and greatest innovations of social businesses, entrepreneurs, artistry, science and technology created in our social media network – the CACOON, and around the world. Showcase Networks will travel the world bringing you inspirational programming based on CACOON activity.

• The Open Kitchen – Foodies rejoice! An entire channel dedicated to healthy and sustainable cooking practices, new and interesting local food, community supported agriculture and kitchens,urban farming, and health-conscious eating

• Recreation Channel – Showcases great travel destinations, inspirational wanderers, products, resources and activities of CACOON members as they etch their footprints in the sand around the globe.

• “The Open Door Series” An online Documentary style series featuring the visionaries pioneering the newinnovations and economic structures of social enterprises, social businesses,and new currencies. This is anexploration of the change agents who are changing the world through a lens of socialreformation rather than profit maximization.

• Mentors- We learn from people’s lives. We learn by watching. We learn by imitating-this shows connects start up companies and social entrepreneurs to the people they have admire. Mentors inspires all those who have a dream to follow it and learn from those who have also achieved their dreams.

PROJECT WIDGET

• Community Resource Tree Matching Resource-The community resource tree is used to match members to desired resources they feel will create abundance in their lives. Once saved in the Dream room by the Enhance button, these items can be activated to become a project . Once activated, members are matched to local resources, people, places, volunteers and any use value resource they have activated to enhance their life, collaborate to solve a social problem or create a business.

• Community Credits- E Points - When members Give anything within the Community Resource tree they will acquire Community Credits that then can then use as a means of commerce via the marketplace and community resource tree exchange system.

• Collaboration Program- Solve issues by collaborating in Pods, Groups and Communities. The more you collaborate as a community the more E-points are given to you.

• Volunteer Match Program- Allows Non Profits and Social Business to find volunteers for their projects.

• Connector Guide Program: Broad picture thinkers and seers have the ability to connect people, places and resources together. As a connector or a Guide you can then be listed as such to help find solutions and or give advice. You are rewarded by receiving E- points from the purchaser.

• Educational Series - As a paid member you receive access to educational information and live interactive workshops, seminars and classes that come streaming to your account. You also receive access to real life CACOON workshops, seminars and events in your local community.

• Focus Room Data Information Program – Access to all of your searching, history, impressions. The focus room reveals data to show you what you are actually focusing on within the network in relation to what you have created in your Dream Room . What you focus on will create your reality.

• Business Data Program- As a business you can receive data on who needs and wants your products and services and at what price based on information from the Enhance Saves and other data mining from the Social Media site.

• Investor Program- Allows Investors to receive Data and information for potential investments from our proven investment ready members. Investors will have access to independent films, Social Entrepreneurs, Local Businesses, Social Enterprises and business and other start up companies seeking investment.
• Invest in me program- Allows Paid members to become a part of an investment program. They learn to get their products ready for market . They are also introduced to interested investors who are are a part of the investors program.
• Social Entrepreneur Program –Social Entrepreneurs who have promising ideas for the planet are connected to potential investors via our Social Entrepreneur Program.

• Micro Lending Program – We connect your project if qualified for Micro lending resources from partner organizations or from the CACOON Foundation

• Local Business Listing access – All members can list their businesses on the local business lists.

• Co working Listing access- Co working groups, Co operatives and Collectives businesses and spaces can list their business on the Co Working list.
  

MARKET PLACE WIDGET

• MarketPlace Access- Allows members to promote and distribute their products and services via the Showcase Marketplace.
• Market Place Submission- Allows Paid members to submit products or services to add to the marketpalce for distribution. Showcase then promotes these items to be sold and via the marketplace and also the Showcase Marketplace Home Shopping TV series.
• Applications Design and Open Source Submission Program- Allows paid members to submit their Software Applications for internet mobile devices for review to be featured and promoted on the market place, local channels and on Showcase Spotlight.

ENHANCE WIDGET

• The Enhance button saves ideas, projects, products or anything a member feels would enhance their life. Once saved a member can then organize these items onto a Dream Board.

• Dream Board - Items from your Dream Board can then be organized into categorizes of items that you desire to have, things you want to achieve or people you would like to collaborate with. Once categorized the items are ranked in levels of Highest Excitement to the least. These items can then be activated into projects in the Community Resource Tree.

SHOWCASE WIDGET

• User Generated Content Submission- Allows members to upload limited monthly content of their own independent TV shows, films, articles, photos and other media content to be viewed on Showcase Networks.
• Indie Film Submission Program- Allows members to submit their films to be chosen and featured on Showcase Networks. Films of note will become part of the program line up on the showcase networks platform.
• Artists exchange Program- We promote local indie artists ( film makers, musicians and song writers, performance artists) and then provide a platform for them to tour and promote themselves in other places around the world by exchanging groups of artists to perform in a city in exchange for another group.
• TV Series Submission Program-Allows paid members to submit their independent TV shows to be chosen to be featured on Showcase Networks. Shows of interest and of note will become part of the line up on the showcase networks platform.
• Showcase Radio access- Allows Members to promote and distribute their music and talents via the Showcase Radio Application.
• Local Channel Local Access- Allows members to promote and distribute their businesses via the local channels within the showcase networks platform via links, sponsored content, ads, sponsorships, podcasts, articles, photos and the showcase news channel.
• Spotlight Program- We generate a spotlight promotional campaign of the members products and services they wish to promote and distribute.

• Root Sponsors Program: Businesses who Sponsor programming on the network are called Root Sponsors as they are Key in Supporting the innovation of our members . Root Sponsors are featured on Showcase Networks via a sponsorship program that supports members and local businesses.

• Root Sponsor Que- Root Sponsors messages, videos, promotions, educational materials and other products and services can be viewed by the viewer by choosing the Root Sponsors Que. Here viewers can interact with the creators of content, seeing behind the scenes footage and other stories from the makers of the Roots Sponsors commericals or videos. Viewers have the option to save products, services or other media with the Enhance Button as well as purchase these items instantly from the Que.

• Community Building Root Sponsor programs- As a Root Sponsor of a Community Build Project, members and their businesses products and services are featured on the program line up as well as in the Root Sponsors Que.
